Here in Denver, Colorado Denver county it's legal to have less than an ounce. BUT it's still a FEDERAL offense. So it's up to the officer if they want to press charges and if they do you can fight it in court.

depends on who you ask. some states allow it to be grown in small amounts (alaska) or used for medicinal purposes (oregon). however, the federal government treats it as an illegal narcotic and will arrest you even if your state deems it illegal.
once someone gets arrested for it and fights it up to the supreme court, they might finally rule on whether it's a state issue or a federal one.

medical marijuana is legal in 9 states, but since it's federally illegal it's technically NOT legal anywhere. but it's tolerated/not criminalized in certain states/cities. move to Arcata, CA. it's growing EVERYWHERE!
