You like totally left out religion. For awhile everything was only about religion, The secularism came in and people got bored with religious songs only. In the span of humanity, the love/sex/romance thing without the presence of religion is relatively new on the music charts of the Universe.

I think those are topics that people have deep feelings about and people can relate so it inspires songs. I'm a songwriter/poet and those influence me the most and thats easy to write about because I have alot of emotions connected to love/sex/romance.

Nah not really, you just listened the wrong music, shift to underground music and you'll see variety different colour of music, then you'l realise that you miss lot of thing in music.

well,if we take into consideration the fact that we humans are genetically close to birds than many other mammals(note clavicle bones,erect position,desire to fly,etc),we sing to attract the oposite sex(like birds do).the best musitians are men,like male birds do the most singing and females usually don't!of course you can see that in many other animals(for example lions,etc)
