in order to put more songs in your mp3 player you need an mp3 converter to lower your bit rate...

the normal bit-rate is 128 - kbps, the sound is cd quality
anything less than that you will hear a hissing sound..

its up to you ..quantity or quality...

itunes has a converter thats free.. if u have nero use that.. music match..

all programs should have it.. but make sure u have the correct settings ...

Yes it is but it depends on the maker of your MP3 player, i have a Phillips PSP ( Personal Sound Player) and on program it comes with all i have to do is click on options and play around a little and i can fit a good number of songs on it...basiclly it depends on the company that made the player

unfortunatly you are not able to compress mp3 songs on a mp3 due to the format of the file

Change the bitrate..lower it. if u do this.. the sound quality won't be that good..but you'll hold a lot more songs. if u have any songs over 128kb bitrate..then lower it to 128..128 is decent.

there's programs at www.download.com where u can get MP3 editors.

The MP3 format is a compression system for music.

So in short it already is. ;)

You can get smaller filesizes if you look for lower bitrate quality songs when downloading.
