Leave that up to the lawyers, that's what you pay them for, but be sure to look everything over before signing.

The merging of inherently different corporate cultures is one of the most troublesome issues. Often a big company acquires (aka merges) a smaller one and what made the small company so attractive was its nimbleness and casualness. Note that rarely do two near equals merge, rather, there is almost always one company significantly larger than the other or, in the least, wields most of the leverage. However, the big company often can't help itself and immediately begins to "assimilate" the small company into the often more structured and formal culture of the big company - leading to inevitable tension.
