Sounds like you're trying to obtain info for a report or something but who am I too judge. First off, Im probably not the best person to be giving you the answers for your question but heck, Im going to try based on life experiences. truthfully, its easier to answer someone elses questions than our own so here is my attempt:
I would hope marriage is a union of two people in agreeance with trust, love, committment and devotion. I would hope the two would be best friends and put no others above them. I dont know if marriage affects the economy, I would think not as people are people and people consume as much in pairs as alone...each person has to eat,etc and survive as an individual. I dont know of different types of marriage other than common law and legally married. common law marriages are just when you've lived together so long but arent "holding the papers" ...check our Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell for that. So many problems can arise in marriage, there are a butt load in my own right now maybe thats why Im trying to answer your question to shed some light on my situation...either way...I would hope a good marriage is an equal share of give and take and a sincere love and longing for one another that noone can compare with.
