I have been trying to download Free Beta version 4 of Google Earth released early this week on a dial up network. Dowload box opens, download starts, showing that total download size is 13 MB. However, on various occasions, download suddenly stops after downloading data ranging from 4 MB to 8.75 MB. Installation from downloaded data fails. I have unsuccessfully tried download half a dozen times. What could be possible cause? I have removed earlier version of Google Earth (Version 3) from desktop.

It maybe because of the Dial-Up Connection. It might be going so slow that windows thinks that its jsut not going and it cancels the request and give you some stupid error. I had that problem when I used to be on that horribly super slow dial up conenciton.

your determination. new effective aspects as against protection and stability. in case you do not suggestions sorting out application and the weird and wonderful crash then bypass beta in case you want stability and protection then use version 3. As for the version in pics i'm afraid i do not understand as i'm utilising version 3 so won't be able to evaluate.
