You are somewhat right. Someone here says that some are paid to put out propaganda disguised as questions or answers that are propaganda and they are correct. What gets me is many sign up and then they Make their "Activity Private" Why? what are they ashamed of? Oh I get it so they can't have someone see the pattern of questions or answers. Now here is a News flash: none of this stuff is private! Anyone can see anyone elses activity with a couple of clicks of the mouse without any hacking tools and no keyboard required. People that think this way are just kidding themselves. Proud Vet

1. Go vegetarian. A single pound of beef can take 2,500 gallons to 12,009 gallons of water to produce. Being vegetarian by far saves more water than any low-flow shower head or not flushing a toilet.

2. Only plant local/native plants in your yard, as they will not require any more water than the rain naturally provides.

3. Install a low-flow shower head.

An interesting article, which I link to below:

How Much Water to
Make One Pound of Beef?

March 1, 2001 -- To date, probably the most reliable and widely-accepted water estimate to produce a pound of beef is the figure of 2,500 gallons/pound. Newsweek once put it another way: "the water that goes into a 1,000 pound steer would float a destroyer."

1. Buy applicances such as washing machines and dish washers that use less water and energy.
2. Use a bucket rather than a hose to wash your car or anything, for that matter. Use a broom rather than a hose to clean your driveway.
3. Turn off all taps properly and make sure all your taps are not dripping.
