Depends on your money, you can buy a Watch, After shave and Perfume, Suit, Cell-phone, etc.

Any gadget with a bunch of buttons or multiple cool functions. Anything that has new technology. Or something small that he needs for his hobby. Or if you have money to drop, something he really wants, like a lcd tv/dvd player for the bathroom. And make sure you get a deal on it and tell him... that will make his day.
Never get:
1. Something functional, like underwear, even if he really needs it. Save that for a regular day.
2. Clothes that are different in taste from what he usually wears. He'll probably think you're trying to change him.

Something that he has an interest in. Don't get a tie for someone who lives in sweats and t-shirts. If they have a hobby, get something that can be used for that purpose.
