The one who brings his team to the final, that's for sure.
We have seen some excellent saves and these are usually from 'keepers of 'lesser' teams, because naturally they will see more action.
I always judge goalkeepers not on the fine stops but on 'bread and butter' issues, does he handle crosses, does he 'rule the box', is he beaten at the near post, does he spill easy shots etc ?
That is what usually separates the really good from the rest.
Based on what we have seen after a week, Dida of Brasil, Van Der Saar of Holland and Buffon, have shaded the field together with Cech of the Czech Rep.
I think 1 of these 4 will emerge as the best, come 9 July.

Van der Saar, Buffon, Cech but I am hoping Robinson of England will eventually prove to be the keeper of the tournament (and dangle a winner's medal round his neck!)
