one employee attacked the other than accused the later of using the N word do we all know what that is? the later got fired the accuser quit a short time later. the later would now like to return to that company is there a law pertaining to this question.does a certain amount of time have to pass before he can be rehired?

just by the way you phrase the ? tells me they would tear you apart if you tired anything legal,,which you have no legal grounds.the company can rehire at any time if it wants to.
As far as employee vs employee in discrimination there's really no such thing.The law you are describing would be the right to work in a "hostile free"enviroment.Either way you have to have at least one or more documented cases or actions.
discrimination is a total different thing than what you say here,however it could be considered if the N word is used and the "employer" lets it continue after a complaint has been filed. and then it would also have to involve a termination.
