A leader that believes in the rule of law. This is definitely a case of a beneficient dictator. Most people in Singapore would acknowledge that a great level of power still resides with Mr. Lee Kwan Yew. But with this guy i had heard that his father is still a small time watch seller. But when it comes to replicating it elsewhere would be a harder task. Since Singapore is an exceptional case. Severely limited natural resources. Its actual primary resource are its citizenry. Here Big Brother is a pain in the *** with the rules but he is definitely looking out for you.

After extended discussions I had with people from Singapore, I understood that the "miraculous" progress of the country is due to the leaders who wanted to make it and were educated, most of them knew were followers of Plato, especially his book The Republic!
It might sound silly, but when prompt bases are set for any organization, great and unexpectedly good results are coming!
