I think that peace is a reality. When people think about peace they think the big picture, peace as a dominate reality, a lasting universal experience for mankind. There will never be a consistant reality for all people because each person is subject to their own perceptions of their experiences. However I think that peace could become more of a reality for us all if we built up small moments of peace and created a lifestyle in our society inwhich momentary peace was more valued

Peace can mean a feeling of happiness, gratitude an inner peace.
Peace like harmonious relations, freedom from disputes. Inter contentment, serenity, peace of mind. Peace is a choise. Peace starts within ourselves. If you make peace the way you live, feel and think. Then I quess it is a reality within yourself.....Peace Out!

If Peace is a reality within me and within you and others on an individual basis, then it is a possibility for all of society. Macro and micro are One. What is possible for one is possible for all!

Peace!

I've thought about this a lot and the only way peace can be a reality is if every one killed them selfs.

Not a hope in H***, well maybe peace after every living thing has died off of this planet and the sun is burnt out to a cold dark cinder.

Absolute peace? no...But a peace that allows mankind to coexist with abilities to settle differences amicably...yes, i believe . If humans cannot learn to tolerate and accept differences in every human being...then there will always be battles..whether in the broad sense or in smaller views.

i dont think so. i was just reading a very good article at livescience.com about how it has been recently discovered that peoples reaction to things (anger, sadness, violence, peacefullness) is inhereted more so than learnt behavior...so unless we introduce selective breeding of humans i dont think so :)
