I'm not sure what a sap is but SAP is the second largest enterprise database/software manufacturer next to Oracle.

Their main product is the SAP R/3; the "R" stands for real-time data processing and the number 3 relates to a three-tier application architecture: database, application server and client (SAPgui).

Other major product offerings include Advanced Planner and Optimizer (APO), Business Information Warehouse (BW), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Supply Chain Management (SCM), Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Exchange Infrastructure (XI), Enterprise Portal (EP) and Knowledge Warehouse (KW).

I'm not sure what industry you're applying to because any of the above could be incorporated into a typical business application but sometimes in the hiring process you will hear about the Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS) which uses a special processes to catalogue candidates.

The only 'sap' I know of is the SAP for televisions which stands for Secondary Audio Programming. This is designed for television markets where there is a large population who primarily or exclusively speak a language other than the main local language. I won't waste time looking up institutes that offer training unless I know for sure that this is what you're talking about...

A correction for Adam's entry. SAP is the second largest software company after Microsoft. Oracle is a distant second to SAP in ERP software.
