Eh... you're "Asian" if you want the politically correct version of your own ethnicity. ;) "Oriental" is generally used as an adjective to describe items, not people, as in: "oriental rug".

If you have a background in clerical work, there are plenty of temporary work agencies like Kelly Services or Manpower that can get you work like that. They take a cut for finding the jobs for you, but many of the jobs have the option to go permanent after six months or so... at which point the temp. service releases you and you can negotiate directly with the company, generally receiving a considerable jump in pay at the time you are hired.

Good luck. :)

My company Symcor has some data entry work and we're hiring coordinators base pay is like $35,000 to 47,000 a year approximatly. Im in Orlando, FL. Also, in looking through the ads here there are alot of clerical opportunities and secritarial work. Pay isn't too high though I'm guessing b/c of living expenses and taxes being lower then the bigger states, so ur looking at like $12 max usually starting, if u can shoot for higher go for it.
