you better rethink abortion.
it really is the only SAFE way to terminate a pregnancy.
if you try doing it yourself you could end up bleeding to death or dying from an infection.
i suggest you see a doctor as soon as possible, because after a couple months abortions become ilegal depending how far along you are.
to find a doctor that will see you anonymously and can perform abortions, go to your local "planned parenthood" clinic
the doctor will explain what safe alternatives you have.
good luck.
feel free to contact me for more info

Well, not to really nitpick but "getting rid of" a pregnancy is an abortion, no matter how you do it. That said, you can have what is called a medical abortion, which is basically two pills that you take before you are 6 or 8 weeks pregnant (I can't remember the exact date). Or a surgical abortion which is where they basically vacuum out your uterus. There are home remedies that some people suggest but they are usually of questionable safety and not very effective. If you want to know more, visit www.plannedparenthood.org

And p.s. It doesn't make you a bad person. But if you are not ready to be a mother, and neither is your fiance I would suggest that next time, you are more careful with contraception because trust me, you only want to have to have an abortion once.

Honestly, I don't know what to tell you... deliberately getting rid of pregnancy IS abortion. However, maybe you're asking how to abort your fetus without going through a clinic? If that is the case, there is no safe way to do so. If you feel strongly enough about this, you should really go talk to Planned Parenthood, your local health department, something. Don't try to find a do-it-yourself way. You could possibly die from it.

Also, you mentioned having a fiance. Apparently, you're ready for the commitment of marriage, are you sure there is no way you two could "rise to the occasion" as it were, to be parents? I doubt there are really that many "planned" children, or babies who are born to people that are "ready to be parents." Sometimes, things happen and we end up in situations that require us to grow up faster than we want to, or force us to dig deep and find our inner strength and responsibility... Perhaps this is just one of those things, a part of life that you should see about living out.

In all, if you "get rid" of your pregnancy, you are having an abortion. Call it what it is; there is no other way.

There is a second side: If you and your fiance are REALLY in a bad situation that would not be a good environment for raising a child (you have no home, there is abuse going on, drug use, no jobs, no money, in trouble with the law, etc etc.), there are options. You could check yourself into a shelter, if the situation is bad for you. You could also think about adoption? Maybe your situation allows it that you'd have a nanny to raise your child? I don't know; I just hate for women to feel that abortion is their only choice for an unwanted baby.

(Just think: you may not want your baby, but someone else might)

As a young mother of 3. My first pregnancy at 17 was unexpected I never once considered abortion, however the father did and we went to the interview at planned parenthood and were mortified when we left. Our daughter is now 9 and a very bright, intelligent girl. Yes, we are still together married with now three children. Please reconsider your thoughts. No one is every ready for anything. Maybe you and your fiance need a good support system to help you both through the pregnancy. There are several systems out there. Good luck to you. I am sure you'll make a wonderful family.

Oh my dear, you sound like me when I was pregnant with my first. I was so way afraid - she was our honeymoon baby. Not married a week and we got pregnant. It seemed so unfair - we felt cheated out of 'our' time. I couldn't find a way. I took a lot of Black Cohosh - I was told that would do it, and it was herbal, I would give it a try (I was desperate - I really didn't want an abortion). It made me very very sick because I took too much and it didn't change my situation one bit.

An astrologer friend told me that sometimes when these things happen out of the blue and by surprise, it is often the Divine touching your life in some way and she encouraged me to do a chart for around when the baby would be born.

The person they described for me when they told me a little about the chart was such a beautiful person with strong connections to lots of people in both our families (who don't really get along) and she would be a great uniter for our families and for us as a couple. It was a kind of magical moment - I knew right away that she would come and that she would be an amazing blessing in my life, and she is. I am grateful to have her and I am glad that she came in her own time.

I believe that we all come here for a specific reason - to learn something specific - and we pick our parents and our circumstances and we have a group experience here. This is part of your own personal divine plan - if the kid comes it comes, if not, not (many women miscarry in their first pregnancy - and I think that is because they truly are terrified and don't think they can handle it). Either way, allow the Divine to touch your life. It's part of the experience.

Even older women who get pregnant feel insecure and get scared sometimes. AGE has nothing to do with it. And it is NATURAL you don't feel ready to be a mother because that comes with the hormonal changes of labor and birth and the immediate post-natal period. Once that baby is in your arms, the hormones and instincts kick-in and you WILL be ready!

Adoption is NOT "getting rid of a pregnancy." It is resigning yourself to a 50% or greater chance of PTSD, unresolved greif that lasts for decades, serious depression, and secondary infertility. Once you've given birth to a child, that child is a part of you and your body and your family and "giving it away" goes against what Nature programmed your body for.

Or, if you want to look at it this way, God does not make mistakes with his Gift of creating life. He does NOT put babies into the wrong tummies!

No-one feels "ready" with their first pregnancy. if you are considering adoption, at least take your baby home from the hospital and take care of him/her for a few weeks first and THEN make your decision

There are plenty of support groups around for young parents and single parents and you need not worry. Not only that, but colleges often have parent resources centers, daycares on-campus, and scholarships specifically for single parents.

I felt the same when I was 16 and my fiance and I were expecting. I was scared. I didn't feel ready. And NO-ONE gave us any encouragement or support. Our son is now 26 yrs old and a wonderful college grad with a great career ahead of him. My partner is a manager of a hi-tech company and i'm working on my masters degree. Teenage pregnancy can WORK!

i'm sure you are not a bad person, but you need to realize that you have just be blessed with the most wonderful miracle you will ever experience, and you shouldn't take it for granted!! there are tons of people out there who have a lot of trouble conceiving or who can't conceive at all!!! you should see this pregnancy through and if you aren't ready to be a mom, then i'd say look into adoption, do not hurt yourself or an inocent baby. If you aren't meant to go through this god wouldn't make it happen, and who knows maybe you'll miscarry! either way, try to use better caution next time! being pregnant and having a child is an enormous responsibilty! you and your fiance need to take responsibility for your actions! i'm sure you are both good people and bad things always happen to good people! you have a lot of thinking to do! good luck, and i hope you work it out and eveyone is happy and healthy in the end!!

well depending on if you know for sure, there is the 72 hour pill. other than that, if it's too late, you might as well get an abortion because if not, you are pretty much asking us how can you murder your child in some weird form so that you don' t have to go thru an abortion.
The abortion is better and safer, but you trying to do something else so that you can classify it as a mistake or miscarriage isn't good. Plus what happens if it doesn't work and all you do is mess the baby up and then you will end up with a deformed or retarded child and you did it to yourself.

Now that you are pregnant you can do one of two things. 1. Live with your decision to have sex. You took the risk, now you have to live with the consequences. That is the mature thing to do. My fifth child was a surprise and I wasn't ready for another child but abortion wasn't an option for me. She is 8 years old now and we both love her so much! She is such a delight!
2. You can put the baby up for adoption. There are many many people that want a baby but they can't conceive. I personally know of two women that had that problem. They both adopted and have been excellent parents.
This is just the beginning of your relationship. It will test the both of you and your love for each other. This is a child created by you and your fiancee. It is your child. How are you going to express your love toward this child? Are you willing to love your child enough to give them to someone else to care for? Are you willing to sacrifice your own desires by keeping the child? Love often means sacrificing what we want in order to do the right thing. I don't want to be harsh but this is the reality of marriage. There are going to be numerous hurdles that you are going to have to face in the future together. A big lesson can be learned here. Think before you act!

Adoption! Could you honestly consider killing someone so innocent because you aren't ready; when there are so many people who are (no that I am not one of those since I get pregnant at the drop of a hat)? Please give this baby a chance to be someone else's happiness. You can always have one for yourself later and you may just find that you both are ready when the time comes.

If you read about all the things that need to occur in unison in order for a child to be conceived...you may understand the miracle of it all.

Watch these videos, they were amazing to me
