HPV is human papillomavirus. It has recently been discovered that this is the cause of cervical cancer.
Around 80% of the sexually active population will come into contact with HPV at some point in their lives, and most do not develop cancer because the virus either does not cause symptoms at all, or the symptoms that do develop are caught early and treated before they have a chance to progress.
This is why it is so important for women to get a pap smear at least once a year. Although there is no cure it is a highly treatable before it has a chance to become cancer.
As to the warts - get yourself tested. Unlike men, women do not always show the warts on the outside. If you have them get treatment.
Other than that you have to question, where did all these STD's come from.

Human Papilloma Virus. There is no "cure" for HPV infection, although in most women the infection goes away on its own. The treatments provided are directed to the changes in the skin or mucous membrane caused by HPV infection, such as warts and pre-cancerous changes in the cervix.

Human papilloma virus
Do you have genital warts? It can be hard to detect symptoms in a woman. If you don't however, there is little doubt that your fiance acquired them through sexual activity.
If you continue to sleep with him, get him to wear a condom. HPV has been linked to cervical cancer.

human papilloma virus. i can't tell you what to do from a relationship standpoint, but from a medical one, you should use a condom, at least for now. he should go to a doctor and have the warts removed. it is very important that he address this problem, that you protect yourself from it, and that you be tested and treated appropriately. the reason it is so important is that hpv can cause cervical cancer in women. so although it is probably a fairly minor problem for your man, it could be fatal to you. see a doctor and tell her what is going on.
