Due to the lack of an atmosphere in space, sound cannot travel. A rattlesnake's familiar tail shaking will not be heard in the vacuum of space.

SOUND IS A MECHANICAL WAVE AND REQUIRES A MATERIAL MEDIUM FOR ITS PROPAGATION UNLIKE THE ELECTROMAGNETIC WAVES.
IN SPACE THERE IS NO MEDIUM ,NOT EVEN AIR .SO THERE IS NO TRANSFER OF SOUND FROM A POINT TO ANOTHER POINT.HENCE WHETHER IT'S A SNAKES'S RATTLE OR A BLAST THERE ARE NO CHANCES OF HEARING IT BY OUR EARS.

no. The rattle is a sound, and you need some kind of mass to here a sound. Whether it is a certain gas, liquid, or solid. As long as there is a medium that can carry the vibrations we know as sound.
