~America is the only nation on earth to have ever dropped a nuke, and we want to keep it that way. Although we might lend one to the Jews if the ragheads get out of hand.
Kill for peace. It's the American way.

Dear Udan
This question is being answered for you by the under named for and on behalf of The President of The United States of America and that of The White House.
President Bush and The White House insist that Iran stop developing atomic research as a matter of USA security.
Just as Iraq poised a major threat to the USA, there is the possibility that Iran will do the same, or provide and supply atomic weapon's to Iraq, or some other country for the purpose of attacking the USA once again.
Therefore, it is very important for the protection of the USA, that President Bush and The White House put a stop to this atomic development research before a repeat of what happened with Iraq should take place again.
I therefore trust that this answer's your question.
Regards

George Bush and Company are doing the same thing they did before the Iraq invasion. They are beating their war drums. They are attempting to become an empire. Read the document the New American Century put out by PNAC. Donald Rumsfield, Richard Cheney, Jeb Bush and Paul Wolfitiz all signed this document called the new america century, a defense stratgey for america in the 21st century. In those pages you will see George W. Bush's foreign policy. They wanted Bill Clinton and George's Father to do this and they would not do it. George H.W. Bush recieved alot a back lash for just talking about the new world order. Clinton would not consider it because he said the american people will say I started a war to escape the Monica scandal. This is not about Nuclear Weapons or Terrorists. it is about money and oil. It is about global slavery, creation of 2 classes those who have will be few, those who have not will be many. Don't believe me look south to New Orleans, 3 days of advance warnings, they did nothing. He played golf and did fund raisers while the people of New orleans drowned. He even refused to allow assistance from Hugo Chevez reach the people suffering. He said before the invasion of Iraq that there was an axis of evil, he named Iraq, Iran and north Korea. North Korea has nuclear weapons, Iraq and Iran do not. He has already ships waiting in the caspain sea right on Dubia's coast. There will be an invasion of Iran if he has to host another 911 to get the job done.
He needs to be indicted and tried for treason.

Iran has ample energy supplies, so the suspicion is they want to do atomic research to develop nuclear weapons. Since the government of Iran is controlled by Islamic fundamentalists who are sworn enemies of the West, it is generally assumed they would use such weapons against the United States or Israel. Thus, the United States and the United Nations Security Council have insisted Iran abide by its commitment, as they said they would when they ratified the Nuclear Non-proliferation treaty.

Iran has made it clear that they despise Israel and the United States and have demonstrated their aggression towards the secular world numerous times. If a child threatened to kill you numerous times, would you give him a gun? No way. The threat is far worse than the threat of Nuclear Russia during the communist era. Mutually Assured Destruction prevented both sides from attacking overtly. However, the people who wish death the United States have no such concern for their own lives. They believe that they will be martyrs on the road to Paradise if they give their lives in exchange for the destruction of who they see as infidels in Israel and the United States. This makes them particularly dangerous.
Iran is stalling for time, but make no mistake - their goal is to get nuclear weapons. The US is actually doing right what they did wrong in North Korea, and addressing a real threat to global stability by insisting that the Iranian nation not have access to nuclear weapons.

Norgan is from another planet. Another moonbat spewing diarrhea from the mouth (keyboard) and polluting this site. He has mastered the art of cutting and pasting from dimwit websites.
USA hasn't insisted that Iran stop research. DUH???
They insist that Iran stop enriching uranium, the fuel that can be used in reactors and nuclear weapons. There's a BIG difference.
Iran wants the bomb - no matter what they say. Maybe Norgan will be happy once the terrorists hit London again but this time with a nuclear weapon. Hello, knock, knock, knock (on head)... Norgan!!! Is anybody in there??? knock, knock, knock (on head).
Following are excerpts from an interview with Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki, which aired on Channel 2, Iranian TV on June 7, 2006.
Manouchehr Mottaki: We emphasize the peaceful nature of our nuclear weapons… I mean… of our nuclear power plant, and nuclear energy and activities. We have no need for nuclear weapons, as we’ve often said. Nuclear weapons are not part of our defense doctrine.

Because Iran is ruled by a complete nutter, and he enjoys the support of a lot of his citizens.
Iranians are quite different culturally from Europe & America and many of them see the obliteration of jews, and in a wider context, wetern values as a good thing. Remember these people don't see democracy as something they are working towards, the view this system as evil. Women are treated in an appaling manner, as are most minority groups.
The Iranians have time and again proven that they cannot be trusted, and nuklear armamemt is not somewhere you can afford togive the benefit of the doubt. If Iranians were given the bomb our world would be a lot more dangerous.

Honestly I do not blame Iran for acting this way after they have seen how the Americans marched into Iraq.
America just has to keep them in track so that the nuclear powerplants are not used for military means.
Maybe they should be placing sanctions on those europeans who seem to get away with selling Iran all the products that they ask for.

If you remember, Bush included Iran in the “axis of evil” well before this issue was raised. Secret services say Iran supports terrorists, therefore the possession of nuclear weapons could mean a much bigger danger than the usual blasts.

Well, Iran has a president who talks like a crazy person about wiping out millions of people. So, yeah, it seems like keeping him from developing or aquiring nuclear weapons is worth something. Probably quite a bit.

The speeches of its president is enough to scare the s out of anyone. Yes the US is the only country that has ever dropped one - BUT - One has to look at the time & what was know of the consiquences. Many feel Iran would use it or allow others to.
