you sound like there is something wrong about the fact that you are a butch, there is nothing wrong with you. God made you that way. since God is omnipotent and He is the epitome of rightness then He must have willed it that way.
the best advice now is to stop worrying about it and live your life to the fullest and you can take the question up to Him when you see Him personally. no use worrying about it now.

and on a more scientific note, it is proven that gays and lesbians are not moulded or affected by environment, its not even a choice, just like left handedness. there is indeed physical differences between the brain size of a straight woman and a gay woman. (the brain size for butches are almost similiar to a straight man's brain size) this is only one of the differences that i've been talking about.
people will judge and will condem, but i guess we'll just need to learn how to forget about it and move on so tha we dont waste precious time trying to figure out why we are the way we are instead of going out to smell the roses.

You don't mention your age. Often times maturity helps answer this question.

If you think you are butch (referring to 'gay' butch) because you like to wear your hair short, dress in a less than girly manner, you may need to re-think the term "butch". My very straight Aunt prefers short hair, Levis and men's shirts to what most would consider "girly clothes". What's more, she can still chase most of her kids and grandkids down and whomp a**es if they deserve it, and she's almost 61! You have to do something really bad to piss her off that much these days. Unless you are a little kid and you go down by the river and you aren't supposed to. That's a butt-kicking for sure.

If you think you are butch because you prefer feminine women sexually. You feel like you should be the one to "protect" them, ( like we really need protecting!)--Most of us like letting butch women think we do, so we go along with it. Although it is more intimidating to most when a butch woman has your back. (Some lipstick lesbians I know are more dangerous than any butch every thought of!) Some people seek a balance of yin and yang. Others are more gender neutral so there is already a balance.

I also think it is unfortunate that you feel the need to label yourself or let anyone else label you. Labels are for canned goods, letters and those times when society feels they must give labels to those people that fit outside what they consider average, or normal. Not all gay people one of the stereotypical labels. Some gay people look just like your average man or woman.

My advice is, if it doesn't bother you-Don't Worry About It! Just enjoy your life. Date whom ever you want to date. If you have sex-be safe. Don't listen to what other people that don't matter to you think.

I hope you figure it out. If this is a real problem for you, maybe you should seek professional counseling.
