I use this stuff called spellbound by designer skin you can use it in the tanning bed and outside in the sun. It has bronzer in it so everytime you lay out you get color without any orange or streaks. It works really well for me and I am really pale. It's sparkly too! You have to get it from a tanning salon or online. I get mine on ebay becuase the salons overprice it.

Those freckles are an sign of damage from the UV and are an indication that you have a skin type that most likely will never tan deeply, no matter how much time you spend in the sunbeds. I am the same, I tan a bit but mostly develop more freckles. It's genetic, there's nothing we can do other than use fake tan- oils won't make the slightest bit of difference as it's the amount of melanin (colour cells) in your skin that decide how tan you get. Better not to damage your skin- in 20 years time you will develop a lot of wrinkles if you overdo tanning now.

I have recently been busy doing a safety assessment involving ultraviolet industrial equipment and I was not impressed by the health risks posed by exposure to small amounts of U.V.radiation.An exposure level of zero is the only acceptable option. Those freckles could very well develop into melanomas by the year 2016 if you do not eliminate the tanning now.

Be careful. I tanned for only three years before I had my first test for skin cancer. The only people I know that have skin cancer got it from a tanning bed. I'm only 25 now. You should be careful. Freckles that many, that fast, is a sign your skin can't hold the pigment.

Belive it or not, the guys from Baywatch always used sunless tanners, never the sun or heat lamps, and when they went in the sun they used sun block SPF of at least 30, it used to be 15, but more is better.

If you freckle easily and quickly don't bother trying for that "deep bronze" look. It isn't going to happen. Healthy skin is far more important and looks monumentally better (read that as "more sexy"). Leathery skin is REALLY nasty.

There's no such thing as a healthy tan, from any source.
