If you have tightness in your chest as you breathe, you may have asthma and/or allergies compromising your lung capacity. There are treatments for that but one of the best ones is to expand your natural lung capacity with gradual-paced, regular cardiovascular exercise, going slowly until you can push yourself harder...

If it isn't a breathing issue, you may want to ask about synecope (pronounced sin-EH-coh-pee). This is what happens when your blood pressure is in the low end of the normal range, and changes in your bodily posture end up causing sudden drops in upper-body blood pressure (do you get dizzy if you have to get up *straight* to your feet in the morning from your bed? That is the classic sign of it.).

Yes many times, and I've also fainted before. I find that if I drink water and have some sugar right before they do the blood test, I am fine.

i agree with the above, but you should also know that you could have an arrhythmia that would not be detected with echo. there is a heart monitor that a heart doctor (cardiologist) can give you. they put it on you and you wear it for several days. there is a button that you press when you experience the dizziness or shortness of breath, so that it can record what your heart is doing at that exact moment. that would be my suggestion if you are concerned.

Dat happens with me too.

My doc told me that when I suddenly stand from a sitting position, my blodd pressure drops and I feel dizzy and kinda breathless too.

This happens to me when I suddenly stand from a lying position too.

Maybe thats your problem too.
Go see a doc dude!!

It may be possible that you're having panic attacks. They can often make you feel like you're having a heart attack. You may feel dizzy, racing heart, light headed. Have any of your doctors considered this possibility?
