Did it work for you? How far along were you.... were you dilated or effaced at all? How long did you do it and how long did it take before you felt a contraction?

Im four days past my due date and 3cm dilated, completely thinned out.. babies head is down and ready. Last night we went for like an hour walk then went to bed.. I woke up and lost my mucus plug.... so I was thinking about trying this. I am not really feeling contractions and I didnt with my first pregnancy either... so trying to get this started.

this really works
it releases... i wanna say it's called oxytocin...i used cream and got my hubby to help...i just rubbed both hand full of cream over both breasts @ the same time, then he took a turn...i did it for a day and a half,as often as possible...i was a week past due date...then boom it was time...it releases naturally what they give you in the iv to induce your labor...

very best wishes, the other thing is chamomille tea,i mean drink as many cups as possible with honey...i was going into labor @ 7 months cause i didn't know this was bad,and i had a cough and couldn't drink cough medicine.
started having contractons, went to the hospital,i was bringing the baby down they said...i didn't know that really worked too...

i just kept a cup with me cause it was warm, and anything warm and liquid would calms my cough,so boil a big pot...this is what the midwifes give the women who want to do it naturally with out meds...

There's a fair amount of info on it available that suggests that if it's overdone, it can be quite dangerous for the baby. Many "natural" medicine and birthing types are very cautious about tis method of natural induction because it has been known to send some babies into extreme distress.

"Nipple stimulation requires monitoring because it can sometimes cause prolonged contractions that could stress your baby and depress his heart rate."

"NOTE: Nipple stimulation can have very strong effects, similar to the overuse of Pitocin (synthetic oxytocin). For this reason various experts have given recommendations on its use. Here are some recommendations I have seen at various sources:

Only massage one breast at a time
Only massage a nipple for 5 minutes, wait up to 15 minutes to see what happens before continuing with the massage
Do not stimulate the breast during a contraction
Do not use nipple stimulation after the contractions are 3 minutes apart or 1 minute long"

Actually didn't help at all for me. I was told to take Evening Primrose Oil. It's a vitamin and something in there helps labor progress. I did take it and I went into labor the day after my 36th week doctor's appointment. Good luck!

Im no longer certain nonetheless while i suppose of nipple stimulation thats no longer relatively what i suppose they imply. making use of a breast pmp wold aid produce extra milk bt you wold get sore nips. Im considering extra like foreplay nipple stimulation. Its kinda enjoyable, and might unlock hormones into your mind that wold inspire contractions.I feel intercourse as a rule can aid set off as sperm has a few form of hormone in it,additionally feminine orgasm because it to unlock hormones into the mind . Nothing pleasrable abot a breast pmp until your engourged

I don't know if it really helped, but I walked around tugging on my nipples for a week for I went into labor. I've also heard that being around babies and looking and touching baby toys may help too. Congratulations!!!!~

your body will go into labor when it is ready, don't rush things. Your due date may be off a little
