In my state it is a clear statute that makes it illegal to have a relationship with a patient. It is not appropriate. You should find another doctor. If you want to continue a personal relationship then that is your choice. By the way, it is his fault. He should know better. Even if a patient were to throw herself at you, as a medical provider, it is your responsibility to keep the relationship professional...period.

How many times have you gone to the Dr in a 3 month period? Do you have some sort of condition that needs intense treatment? If not, you've been going to the doc looking for a little lusty interaction. You understand the situation and you know how to stop it or continue it depending on your own choices. You have no right to be upset; when you failed to ask him to keep it professional, returned the flirting, and continued the visits, you showed that you were looking for that kind of relationship. Give the guy a break and don't send mixed messages. Stop being his patient and start flirting or tell him to stop.

It's absolutely unethical! Report him. Do you really want to date someone who preys on their patients?

The majority of it his fault, since he started it. But, if he continues this behavior towards other patients and you do nothing, *you'll* be at fault. He's taking advantage of you, and you don't know if this will continue to be a cycle.

The point is people should be able to rely on doctor to give sound medical advice and live by ethical standards. Passing Med school does not qualify a person as a good doctor.

You are both "at fault". He for starting the flirtation, you for returning it. There's nothing wrong with being interested in your physician but prior to initiating any type of relationship, I would suggest finding a different doctor.

All women think their doctor is flirting with them at one time or another; it's this wired crush thing. He wasn't flirting. It was all in your head. I've worked for doctors for 20+ years, and hear this all the time. It was probably just wishful thinking. Anyway, doctors make lousy boyfriends/husbands, unless you just want his money without having him around!

I am just afraid he will use you ,hurt you , and dump. HE has money he could have any one he wants. PROBABLY has a wife or GF. Trust me Dr's like young girls that flirt and some girls that do more. BUT watch out, he has nothing to lose. What he is doing if he keeps going could be in jeopardy of his license.

It's nobodies fault but you should definitely remove yourself from that situation whether you decide to see each other or not. It's unprofessional of anyone to make sexual advances at clients or in this case a patient.

If you like him and want to pursue a relationship with him (weather it's casual or serious) you will need to find a new doctor. If you want to keep him as a doctor you have to stop the flirtation now.

id go to the doctor for medical reasons. if your interested in the doctor find out if he is interested. if so , find another doctor, decide what you want to do. i don't personally think this should have took place ethically. doctors are human to. they should mingle after business hours.
