Because I'm going to teach you how to make toast.
First you need a source of fire or heat...then something to prevent the toast from falling into the heat to avoid burning...wait until the toast gets darker until crispy...and then add butter or jelly and eat.
Alternatively, you can put the bread in a toaster and press the "button" down and wait until it pops up, then again add butter or jelly and enjoy.
