Tell her you want to take her out.Ask her what kind of guys she likes(ie; does she like bad boys, or nice guys?).Ask her what alcohol she likes to drink. Keep the conversation light - don't ask about her future or goals in life unless she brings it up. I like funny, easy going conversations.I get bored with the question"so how was work, what did u do at work today?"-when i come home from work I like to forget about it.Ask her specific questions about herself that you want to know, don't be general & don't ask"so tell me about yourself" - instead ask her so what kind of food do u like?what movies do you like,etc. And then you tell her what food u like or movies u like.Then you 2 will just start having a good conversation & she'll feel open & free to ask u questions to.Then it will come natural & u won't have to think urself "ummm,what do i talk to her about?"
