Nah! The previous responses don't even scratch the surface....one of the biggest things that men don't understand about women is the amount of time we spend analyzing our life events. In other words, whether it's a problem at work, or a friend's relationship issues, men seem to have trouble with the amount of time and energy we spend trying to "figure it out" and perhaps "help". Guys are pretty straight forward. They want to know the what, when, why, and how of a scenario...and most of the time, women might have trouble putting conversation into those terms. The most frustrating part is that when a woman talks to her man about how's she's angry, the guy is almost always hung-up on the "why, what did I do?" This is super important for women to think about! We need to explain, in seemingly simple terms, "why and what" the guy did for us to be angry. I am convinced that it's usually a game of arguing about what is tangible vs. intangible. This is how guys seem to think - so all the other emotional speak is a problem for them. In summary, men don't understand that women tend to approach issues by describing how they feel from an action, vs. describing what the action was and how that translates into how they feel...Ugh!

We don't understand fully the effect that fluctuating hormones have on women. Because our hormones affect us on a more constant level we don't have any idea how that works. We have a very hard time understanding how you can know that you are acting in a way that you normally wouldn't but still do it anyway. Or, how someones mood can change so quickly.

But, on the other hand, while I want to do whatever I can to try to understand all of that and communicate in terms that a woman can understand and appreciate, I think it is important that women try to understand what makes men work as well and try to communicate in ways men understand, and try to see things in ways that men do so that we can all mutually work towards better understanding and communication.

It seems sometimes that today's society is constantly harping on the man to figure out women, while women are smart enough to be able to interpret and decode the male of the species and help make things work smoother too.

1. Why does it take like 2-3 hours to get ready to go out?

2. They say they will meet you at a certain time, they loose track of time and when they arrive even up to 1 hour late they don't think it's a big deal.
