My friend, who's only 16, got together with a 23 yr old guy! Her mom knows, and is ok with the relationship. So right know they live together and what not. But she has told me that she has unprotected sex with him. Than she also brags about having good luck cuz she has 1 yr having unprotected sex. But my q is, shouldn't her mom care? Isn't she too young? Can't this affect her in the future? (I'm only asking cuz i care about her)

The question is not of the 16 year old...she is in love (co-called). The question is what kind of Mother would consent to such a living arrangemnet and additionally you mention that she is OK with it...that raises many red flags including her background...advise your friend with your conscience

i thought it was illegal for a 16 yr old to go out with a 26 yr old she shouldn't be having unprotected sex at tht age especially with a 26yr.old

Majority of states and countries 16 is the legal age of consent. Also would be hard to prove if all involved deny it.

i think its GREAT that at least someone cares aobut your friend cuz apparently her mom doesnt at all...and yes it is considered rape....but what can YOU do??? my guess is nothing jsut try talking to her mom and ask her is she cares. and i think its a little crazy that your 16 yr old friend is living with a 23 yr old guy....CRAZY!!!!!! i guess she is lucky but thats not the point one day she can get UN-lucky and get pregnant...maybe you should try talking to your friend and tell her about protecting herself...

she is too young but people only learn from their mistakes. if she does not want to end up pregnant she should definitely think of using birth control.. Sooner or later she will end up pregnant and she is way to young to be a mom.

It's also statutory rape. Even if she consents, she is not of the age where she can legally do so.
