are you straight if you watched every straight movie ever made? no.
and don't worry, it's not something you should worry about, because if you are, guess what?? you are, and there are a whole lot of us out there who are. if you aren't guess what? you aren't and there are a lot of people out there who aren't.
and don't rush it, don't try to pigeonhole yourself so soon, things come with time. if people ask what you are say simply "I'm Me, beyond that it doesn't matter, now does it?"
if you're religious you've been told your whole life that god made you, and he loves you no matter what, my theory is, he made every single part of you and loves everything about you and wants you to be happy. if that means you're happy with someone of your same sex or if you find love with someone of the opposite sex, he's thrilled because it's more love in the world, and less hate.
if you're not religious, the world is full of people who understand and support you no matter what.

If you're forced to watch Brokeback Mountain don't admit it. I'm sure it's a fine movie but I'll take a pass. Gay, no you're not gay but maybe to sensitive to others ribbing you about it. Relax, what's worse then going to the movie and coming out hetrosexual, is going to the movie coming out hetreosexual and then getting roughed by a big gay guy for mocking the movie. It takes more guts to give artistic credit where it's due then to save your ego by thinking only in the box. So what you saw a movie about a couple gay cowboys it won't make you gay but it may make girls like you more. You're no more gay then the two actors that played the cowboys in the movie.

How would watching a movie change your identity? If you were white, and you watched a movie that had characters that were not white, would that somehow change you to not be white? If you were Jewish or Methodist or pagan, and you watched a movie about Buddhist monks, would it change you into a Buddhist just by watching it?
Watching a movie that has gay characters in it won't magically make you gay. If you are worried that your friends or peers will think that you are gay simply because you watched Brokeback Mountain, then you really should worry more about how ignorant or closeminded your friends are, but if you think that they will change their opinion of you because you watched a movie, then you could always not tell them that you've seen the movie.

I never personally watched the movie. The reason I felt compelled to answer your question was because I Feel that you are confused. A movie doesn't make a person gay. The feelings that you have is what makes your sexuality. Did the movie turn you on? Being sexually curious is healthy. Just be safe. If you weren't gay before the movie, you wont be made gay after the movie. Good luck!

You're in the same situation as my cousin. He's a male, and he actually likes the movie. After watching it a few times, I'm pretty sure as he is that he isn't gay. Plus, he's married.
Only you will know what your sexual orientation is. You can't base it by one movie, or any movie at all. It's really you, if you're attracted to males in public and reality, maybe that will help you figure it out.
It is rediculous for anyone to assume you're something just because of the things you do. I have male friends you are straight but are feminine.
I hope this helps. =)

Watching a movie can't make you gay. Plenty of straight people watched and enjoyed Brokeback Mountain.

You cannot be "made" gay. And watching a movie, a very good one at that, cannot "make" you anything but maybe a little more aware, thoughtful, knowledgeable, and tolerant.
Stop worrying about what you are. Be more concerned about being a good and kind person.

I'm not gay either. For the record, Broke back mountain wasn't all that great a movie anyway. Go watch x-men instead.

NO - watching a movie, even enjoying a movie does not make you gay. However, if you are questioning your sexuality you might want to explore that a little bit - but don't 'worry' about it. Decide what you want and be what you want

Not for just watching the movie.
What makes you "think" you're gay? As a guy you are blessed with a "pointer" that tells you if you like boys or girls or both. Listen to it just this once, so it will help you figure it out.
