If everyone answered yes, then it would be okay. That is, everyone on the planet.

It's ok, if in your mind, you believe it's ok, then it's ok to you. It may be a sign of mental illness, but if you could get the courts to believe that you thought it was ok, they'll send you to a behavorial institution, with no definite sentence, until you realized that it was not ok, according to the physicians.

Random killings may bring consequences, unless you never get caught. Aside from that, if it doesn't contradict your moral fibers, then it is ok. It all depends on what your mind believes is truth.

Yes, it's ok to kill someone for no reason. It's just fine. Even if you did it, and you felt bad, you would still justify it, and eventually forgive yourself, because you couldn't accept the reality that you're a complete maniac. So yeah, sure it's ok. Why not, no one has the right to judge you. You're a free agent. Who's going to tell you, you can't kill someone for no reason? You were just bored. Nothing wrong with being bored. We're all gonna die anyway.

It's ok, just don't do it.

And just what do you think would be a good reason? There is absolutely no reason to kill another human being. Besides that, which part of the 6th commandment- Thou shalt not kill is not understood? Ok, in plain english, that's "don't kill".

NO reason? None at all? Surely something would have to provoke you to kill. Even animals in the wild kill for food or survival. Humans will kill for other reasons like sport or anger, but still there's usually SOMETHING motivating them to take another's life. I mean, when I get bored I read a book, not slash up my next door neighbor.

Is having a reason any better?

Scenario: The Matrix. Mr. Anderson comes to believe he is REALLY "Neo".. he is absolutely certain. He leaves Plato's cave, and returning to the Matrix has only disdain for people there. They MURDERED so many people in that film. Just because they have faith and belief their "real world" is MORE REAL than the matrix. Not only that, but the people the kill there have REAL bodies in the Real World that also Die. Crazy.

no its considered bad karma at the least the most is its a crime an the books in most countries if you kill for no reason with no thought your commiting manslaughter and can walk free after 3 to seven years and thats not with a plan or a gun most states and countries consider a gun intent and have a gun crime statute so thats at least a seven year hitch on top of the 3 to seven and if that proves a planned assault then look at 25 to life in most places

life has value. It would be unethical to kill someone without any reason at all.

People who do this, usually spend a lifetime in jail (if caught) because there is no facts to back up the situation.

Not at all.
It might not be right to do it for a reason either.

I'm assuming you are doing it on purpose, not accidentally killing innocent people in war etc.
