You can't rule it out 100% but if a hurricane does come while you're there and there's an evacuation most places have policies set up for reimbursement or refunds if you have to cut your trip short or you can't go at all.

With satellites, that's available to music precisely the position they're heading, and predict the route. Probably not. Florida hasn't even had any rain lately, which is causing the alligators to find water in more residential neighborhoods. I don't mean to scare you, just be very careful when you're there and don't go near lakes, ponds, or streams. I'll be headed that way myself the week after you get back home, so I'll be doing the same.
Have fun!

I think you will be all right. Even though it will be hurricane season they usually come a little later than that in Florida. Late august into October. Look at 2004

The Old Farmers Alamanac has predicted humid and thunderstorms for those days. It's pretty normal weather for that time of year. The rain only lasts for an hour or so then the sun comes out and it gets hot and sticky.

Not yet! but there could be it is a weird year. Alberto was a freak thing first one that early in 40 years! I watch the Weather channel non stop. If you don't have cable they have a web Page weather.com. There is a storm brewing off of Honduras, but that is it as far as I know good luck. Wish I could go.
