**UPDATE**
Actually, he pled guilty and is coming up for sentencing in Oneida. The prosecutor there also told me that he had some other charges pending in Bingham county. He thought they were for another poaching and a domestic dispute.
The Oneida prosecutor said that this guy had his step-children lie on the stand for him. He kept insisting on going to jury trial. But once they proved that the two kids had lied--and I'm assuming threatening them with perjury--he apparently decided to plead guilty. The prosecutor was surprised, but he figured something would happen as a jury would not look kindly on him manipulating two kids to lie in front of a judge. Really quite a sordid tale.
If you know anything about this, please feel free to add more. I'm still waiting to hear back from some other sources.
