Because my .iso file is over a gig and I'm guessing that's way too big for a CD.

Help?

DVD's are 4.3gb for single layer, and 9.7gb for Dual Layer. CD's are only 800mb, so you can't burn it. But yes, in general .iso's can be burned, they are just image files of the data, but not the one you have because of it's size.

EDIT: I read your question wrong...yes you can burn it to a DVD, not a CD. Nero, DVD Decrypter, Alcohol 120%, they will all burn .iso images for you.

are you able to tricky - how massive is the ISO? No, CDs can not span natively. whether it is a DVD ISO image (in all opportunities are high if the report length is greater beneficial than 700MB), you will could desire to burn it to a DVD of a few variety.

I never tried. Why don't you just try it and see what happens. I'm guessing maybe it would work since it's just a higher density media.
