The X700 is a more recent (better) card than the 8500. It doesn't cost anything to update the driver at ati.com. I am surprised that this card would only have 64mb of memory.

I would totally upgrade the card. You can buy an 8500 online for about $50 on pricegrabber.com, and installation is easy. The 8500 is being phased out, so it may be better to spend a little extra cash and buy a card with higher clock speeds, and at least 128mb of memory. You can still find 128mb cards for about $50 too :)

i'd in all likelihood attempt to replace the cardboard, yet which could no longer a image card. that's slightly of ineffective junk residing on your motherboard. So bypass out and locate a $30 pics card and set up it.

Yes you can upgrade it and also you can buy a new one if you want.
go for something like Nvdia Geforce.Let the memory of the card be higher than 256MB.
Good luck.

You have to buy a new one. 64M is not much these days for graphic cards. They can be expensive but you don't have to get the best one. I always used nVidia myself.
