No forget it there would be an underlying guilt that would eat at the relationship.

If you both have feelings for eachother I don't think there would be a problem as long as family members aren't having a fit. Back in the day it was common practice for a brother to take on his dead brother's wife/kids if he wasn't married. I certainly don't see a problem with it - good luck!

Personally, I would not journey down the road of having a relationship with my niece/nephew father. I just will not cross the line of dating my family or friends significant other, whether dead or alive. And a crush it would be, to all around, who would have to witness such a joining.

Be blessed in choosing what’s best.

I think it's alright. My husband's great-grandfather married three sisters in succession. The first one died, he brought the second to the US from France and she hated it here so she went back to France and the marriage was annuled, then he married the third sister and they were married for the rest of their lives. ANyway, even aside from his anecdote, I believe it's fine. I wish you well.

I don't feel that it would be a good idea. Some members of your family may find it troubling. They may even see it as you trying to replace the deceased. I wouldn't do it.

No I don't. There are people who can deal with it, but if your feelings aren't returned by him/her to the same degree there will be a problem.

In most cases, its a bad thing. If its meant to be, its meant to be.

Yes, I think it would be ok. It might be hard on the family but I don't think it is morally wrong. Why shouldn't you both find happiness.

ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!!!!!!!!! Unless the dead sister/brother ask them to fill in , and gave them their wishes, even then I couldn't do it, but to each their own.. Without their wishes, to me that would be like betraying my family..
