LeToya-successful, but don't think she'll blow up like Beyonce
Cherish, Cheri Dennis, Cassie- be gone next summer, although I do like their songs
Lupe Fiasco-Don't like his song
T-Pain- Here awhile
Pharrell- definitely here a long time cuz even if he stops singing he'll still be making hot beats

Of course, every generation wants to think it will be the last, however, I really believe that music has fallen into this strange abyss where nothing can be easily categorized anymore. Since it's become so relatively easy to write, record and distribute music, there's no bar to stand up to in which to separate the mediocre garage bands from the hard working fine tuned professional musicians.

All of these new artists coming out I'm afraid are going to suffer the same fate as the past few artists that have come around. Since music files have become such a commodity, there is little replay value for songs, and therefore little reason to keep the artist around very long.

Pharrell's already made... he's a producer and everything. He's set. All the others are just going to be typical... a couple good songs, and then they go completely downhill.
