In Pa, every night lately, between 6:00pm and 8:00pm, I get tons of beetles landing on my upstairs screens and they're all mating!! They also keep flying around my gutters. Then, poof, they're gone....any thoughts? any help?

The beetles are like a light brown and they're about a 1/2 inch to 3/4.

Sounds like Japanese Beatles to me. go to your home center and buy Japanese Battle traps they will attract and trap them is a disposable bag. they work great around my house.

Get some of those traps that you hang up on a tree. When the bugs fly into the "good stuff" at the bottom, they can't get out. You could do a home made one too - get a gallon jug or 2 liter bottle, cut it about in half, invert the mouth so that it's facing into the bottom of the jug, duct tape the seam so that it won't leak, mix food coloring, water, sugar, and dish soap in it, and then hang it upside down. The bugs get in easily and then get stuck in the soap and drown.

What color are they? How big? Please be more specific. Give everybody some more information.
