does it really mater if a team is playing at home or not,, i mean the about the cheering and like that,,, does it really matter???

when all the crowd n stuff is cheering for the home team,,, i know it supports them,,, but i mean does it help them win???

Yes it matters very much.
All these basketball players have talent and are in great shape. What matters the most is the mindset of the players. Whoevers adrenaline is rushing more or whoever wants it more will win.
When you have thousands of people cheering every move you have and supporting you in the rough spots, you will be getting big boosts of adrenaline.

Also they make it EXTREMELY HARD for the other team to play. Getting booed isn't fun.

well its not a huge deal, but when someone is at the free throw line, instead of getting wands waved and hearing 'deragatory' comments they get silence when at home. But records at home are always way better then records away, so obviously teams must play much better at home, behind their fans. They also dont have to worry about hotels at home.

oh yeah! Team moral means alot, and when you have 10,000 people either cheering for you, or AGAINST you, it really makes a difference!
