what are some eclectic/funky universities, or state colleges?.?

preferably in ny, oregon, cali, or colorado... but mainly in cali... im looking to go into like sociology or marine biology or somethingto help preserve animals oand help people. but i want a ecelectic student body a well...

Check out San Jose State University, (my Alma Mater). You'll find everything you need there in the Bay area. Its a great school!

vassar college in poughkeepsie ny is fairly funky. very well to do school but alot of funky kids.
