My friend has a yeast infection and she wants to go swimming. I say sure, why not. But is that bad? I'm not sure.

We're talking chlorinated, pool water here.

Sure she can go swimming the yeast infection cannot spread from swimming. Just tell her to not lay around in a wet bating suit for too long the moisture will cause her to itch like crazy and promote the yeast infection even more.

No problem. Swimming, bathing, chloronated water or the river, it doesn't matter. It won't affect the yeast infection for the worse or better. Enjoy the swim!
