After innumerable complaints about the rotten service customers were getting, Power Gen has closed its offshort call centre in India. They will replace it with a new call centre somewhere in the UK. Will other companies learn the obvious lessons? I have my own opinions, but what do you think the obvious lessons are?

I don't believe companies learn much from one incident. If there is only one example, that will not lead to change. In fact. this type of "lesson" if you want to call it that has always been with in the corporate world. Only when the desire for material wealth or gain is replaced with the desire to enhance humanity and strive for a higher level of civilization, will the issue be resolved.
