Straight down the hall, second door on the left :) Every day someone asks this identical question at least once, and the answer remains the same -- nobody on Earth knows the answer.

If you are ever in Exeter, Devon, England... There is a pub called the Double Locks... It's halfway down the exter canal.. the oldest canal in Europe, evidently.. Nice spot too..
Well, anyway.. about 20 m downstream of the canal from the secdond set of lock gates is a wee brass plaque, and on this is written"
"you are now at the official end of the Universe"
This is not, in itself a major question.. The big problem is where is the other end????

the universe is finite yet has no edge, just like the surface area of a ball. if u went to the edge of the universe, u would only end up on the opposite side. thats what some theorists put forward

the universe doesnt have any end.its supposed to always expanding according to the big bang theory which is irrefutable.the other theories like the pulsating theory and steady state theory have been negated.there are numerous proofs for this.one of them is that if we accumulate all the detectable masses in the universe it comes to around only one-hundredth of the mass required by gravity to combat the expansion.also if the dark matter is taken into consideration it comes to around one-tenth of the mass required to prevent the expansion.so at present there is no theory to refute that the universe is not expanding.so we can come to the conclusion that the universe is always expanding and has no end.

Logically, if it had a well-defined end, you could go an inch past it, and you just went past the boundary, so it must not have really been the boundary. Therefore, either the universe has no well-defined boundary, or it is inconsistent.

scientists say that the universe ends but i have never herd them say where it ends. They say that after our world there is the end of the universe and that there is no more space beyond.
