Personally, I feel that the wrong books are a bloodless substitute to life. I would wait until you are older to spend your time on mindless crap like that. You should be reading books that further your intelligence, not warp it. They always make everything sound so good, and unrealistic in books like that. It most often will give a false sense of reality. Then, when it comes time to be in a relationship you will most likely be disappointed by reality itself. Yeah, I agree that it is a natural phase that we all go through. The bottom line, however, is do you subject yourself to such mindless clutter or let natural life run it's course. The younger generation have to be stronger than the previous generation and stand up for what is right. Due to the increase in peer pressure and the pressure to do things that young minds are just not ready for, society has given way to a whole lot of heartbreak. Maybe you asking this question was an internal warning that maybe it just isn't right yet. Give yourself more time to mature...

You should read all sort of genres of literature at your age. While I think erotica is probably a little too old for you, I probably read my first erotic novel at your age. It was pretty tame compared to what is out there now but nevertheless, it was really exciting and daring to read.

The key is to read lots of different kinds of books. A Tree Grows in Brooklyn is great for a girl your age. Piers Anthony's "Xanth" novels are awesome. I ate up novels like The Mists of Avalon and stories of Camelot.

Just get out there and explore books. Don't stick with one thing.

There is nothing wrong with reading it. I was always mature for my age when I was younger and I read anything I could get my hands on. It got to a point my mom had to hide stuff from me, and literally keep tabs on what books I borrowed from the library. As long as you realize you're a little young to be having sex, there's nothing wrong with it. I read about stuff all the time now, stuff I'd never think about doing, nothing wrong with that.

Not really. You are pretty young to be reading erotica. Enjoy being a kid and wait until later on to read such adult materials!

nope. it's not bad bt bad has a different meaning for different ages. so my advice is be a kid. enjoy being a kiddo, which by the way u will never get any more whereas of sex there will be plenty to come. so svaor ehat u have now n worry bout erotica later.

My dad used to leave his Penthouse magazines in the bathroom when I was a kid. I learned probably younger than you are now what the "forum" was. I don't know how "ok" it is, but don't make the mistake I made and lose your virginity at 14.

Socially speaking, no. Theres nothing WRONG with it though. You're just maturing and getting curious. Nothing but natural.
