I get frustrated at some of my limitations but i'm ok with who i am. If i'd like to change i'd begin working on that. Internal revolution takes time and extreme effort-sometimes even 3 years. If your mad that you have to be you then perhaps the knowledge that someone somewhere likes you for who you are will assure you that its great that you are who you are.
Why change yourself?

Ok first off, why are people so mean tonight?? Eesh...
Nextly, yes, I'm mad that there I have some characteristics which I dislike but sadly are beyond my control. Like my height for example. But you're probably going for something deeper... so I guess I'm not mad to be who I am because if I ever were I could always fix the thing that I'm mad about. I guess I can only say this because I've been really privileged in my life with all the basic essencials and the education which I can use to expand my mind and make me feel like I'm being all I can be. Some people don't get that opportunity.
Wow... I really love this question.
Also, while there are things that are terrible about me which I hate, like the fact that I snap, and the fact that I procrastinate... cronically... there are some really redeeming qualities to who I am, and I'm proud of myself for maintaining those. It's not always easy.
Thank you for that. I think I needed that question.

No. Learning to love yourself is the greatest thing you can learn. You will, at best only need other people and what surrounds you if you hate yourself. Hopefully, at some point in your life, you'll realize that you have to be your own mother and father (because you left home). It follows that you will eventually love yourself as well as you would love your own children. This whole process is the opposite of self sabatoge.

At some times. Most of the times, I'm content, other times I wish I was someone else. But then again, you can't control who you become, not spiritually anyway.

I like me. I am me. Therefore not mad. It must suck to be you, though.

to be able to ask this question you are already at a point in which you can change who you are, or at least how you perceive yourself to be. it's all the same difference.
