Because we live with them everyday, and we tend to find fault with each other often........This is what I do with mine---when we are having a bad day I allow him plenty of space and try to talk about it when I think we are both calmed down. My hubby's not an asshole, by the way, he's a human being........

Because we watch too much TV and movies where every man is unrealistic. We marry them with these kinds of expectations and they never come true and we immediately label them as assholes when they were never that great to begin with. Lower your expectations and you'll find your hubbie doesn't suck as bad as you thought. It worked for me. I don't expect much out of him and I am rarely disappointed
