I moved categories for this one.
I'm going to do some steering/suspension work on an E-type; a four-wheel alignment and a tune and balance for its 72-spoke wheels. The problem is the wheels are chrome knockoffs, and I can't find any information on how to properly re-torque them when I get them back on the car.
I have the Jaguar factory service manual, but it says nothing beyond "remove road wheels" for any procedure. According to the manual, the torque spec for the wheels is 50-60 lbs.ft., but from what I've read on various forums, I'm having a hard time believing it.
Can some of you British car lovers help me out?

Thanks, all, for the answers! I'm a member of a West Coast Jaguar Owners Club, but I didn't think of the Jag Lovers website or to tap the spinner lightly with the hammer.
I'll try your resources, and hopefully this Jag will be ready for the Western States Meet!
