hmm yea but what happens when what the person post is copyrighted by them? Anyone heard of right of duplication?? Just because things are "out on the net" doesn't mean they are "public property". If someone copyrights a picture of work then by right clicking it and taking it technically you ARE breaking the law (pending on the whole international rights). It's just way to much of a pain to try and crack down on it.
As for your question... you COULD try making the picture an animated gif file and have a small group of bars running down the image so while the human eye can still distinguish what the picture is of to copy it means your now stuck with an image with bars on it. Check out Tattoo websites they do a lot of the same thing to try and protect their work and PROPERTY.
"death to myspace!"

There is no way to avoid this. As long as your pictures are public, people can pretty much copy it no matter what security measure you employ.

You can't. When pictures are uploaded onto the internet, the URL becomes public knowledge, and anybody can copy and paste the link/photo wherever they want.

You could write the Java Applet program to load your picutre and also you could programe to disable the printScreen key to don't take a snapshot of your picture by using the PrintScreen key.

it is a public site, it is part of the way myspace works, you can add a code that disables right click, but there are other ways to get them if they want them

umm, the main purpose of putting you pictures up on a website is for ABSOLULEY EVERYONE to see. They can do what they want with your pictures, because it's not your website.
