Well let's see because in the 70's the Yankees were bullies, Kicking and sucker punching Red Sox players. Ruining the careers of good sox players.

And don't get a little bored hearing 27 World Series Champs?
Makes you think ho hum why bother watching the world series when the Yankees are on they are going to win the whole thing.

Oh wait 3 games up against the Diamondbacks and they lose, 3 games up on the Red Sox in 2004 and they choke.

A Rod should be nicknamed A-wad

A wad of crap lol

I will say that I do like Joe Torre, and Bernie Williams , these guys are class acts

You were the best. You owned us the entire 20th century. I can't erase history. Yes, the yankees were a big source of pride for New York and all of baseball. Everyone's hatred gets people to show up. But do you want to talk about this century or the last, because in the 21st century, the two teams have won an equal amount of championships. And baseball would be around, it would just be more like hockey in popularity, as in a few isolated areas with mass fans and other fans scatered throughout the country.

The Yankees aren't really the best. They were for a while but now the Red Sox have won a World Series and I think they are going to some what take over that rivalry.I hate to say it because I like the Yankees but I think the Red Sox are coming along pretty good.

I am not a cry baby whiny person, I mean Red Sox fan, but I still don't like the Yankees and the arrogance of their fans. Baseball would surely exist and be much better off if the Yankees and the Red Sox did not exist. You know things exist outside of New York, or is that something you just can't comprehend?

Because Red Sox Nation lives in reality and NOT in lala land as do Yankee fans. The Red Sox are obviously the better team on paper and in reality. Yankee fans continue to be blinded by the teams of old. Sorry, but this year it is the Red Sox all the way!!

No. Sorry. yet, no. you're speaking about the splendid competition in the historic previous of activities (that still exists, now that the ny Giants vs. Brooklyn Dodgers replaced into killed, then lessened, through their strikes West). starting up practically one hundred years in the past (and more desirable, by way of geo. competition and commerce/competition between 2 considerable delivery ports to/from Europe).. It quite began with they way New England felt about the British and vice versa. that is about immigrants in both places, and how they were familiar (or no longer), and then, the activities took carry of that competitiveness... continuining by skill of the domination through the crimson Sox, till their proprietor sells Babe Ruth and transformations the historic previous of both franchises. i have been in and for the time of New England for twenty years now.. i have talked to previous & youthful and seen a era of followers more suitable & cemented in New England vs. some thing ny: the Jets, the Mets, the Knicks, and Yankees. there is an unusual youthful BROTHER psychosis up there, yet yet, together.. that's a twisted, weird and wonderful SUPERIORITY complicated (that only isn't spoken of, except they're jointly with out any outsider interior of earshot!). that is depending in race & wealth vs. what they regard as NYC's city refelctions.. that is the strangest component, once you get down into it.. and that's a lot, a lot more desirable than baseball or activities.. that is sociology and deep-seeded 'benign hatred'... that shows itself purely in residing rooms & bars lower than severe pressure & launch, could their crew triumph over. on the Yankees aspect, in this era.. there's a call for for the great in the crew -- and that is adequate. the great attempt from the great gamers, the great that the GM can do.. to carry those gamers, and a manager that would not choke -- that's why Joe Torre replaced into recognised more desirable for his dropping, than his triumphing -- once his strategic bumblings were seen, three hundred and sixty 5 days after three hundred and sixty 5 days with out a Don Zimmer round to handbook/steer from the bench. purely a Yankees fan would understand and understand this.. which i'm.

Looking at the current standings, it appears that the Yankees are only the 5th best team in the majors.

I don't care how many championships the Skankees have bought...i mean, won. They're just a bunch of over-paid pretty boys in pinstripes.

why do yankee fans have to be so snobby and stuck up like you. to win a baseball game you should have to play good baseball, not buy your way through
