Nope, Dan Marino and let me say that I HATE the Dolphins and their sissy colors on their uniforms, but he was the greatest ever. Hate is an understatement when it comes to how I feel about the Dolphags.

While he is an incredible QB, he is not the best QB.
Dan Marino has him beat statistically. Joe Montana and John Elway have him beat regarding championships.
Furthermore, there are still active QBs that are more than able to surpass Favre's statistical accomplishments, like Peyton Manning and Tom Brady.
Nothing can be taken away from Favre's ability and talents, nevermind what he has given the game over the last decade and a half. He may even be amongst the top ten of all time QBs, but he does not rank #1.

I don't agree with you. I do think that Brett Favre is one of the greats but the greatest no. I mean Joe Montana. Peyton Manning. Steve Young. And as much as it kills to say this Tom Brady. These guys were and some are still great. I know I left out a lot more names but these were just some the ones of my generation. I also agree that he's one of the cutest.

First, if you rate QBs by the number of Superbowl rings, you're a bonehead. Hell, give Marino or Favre Jerry Rice, Roger Craig etc. and they'd have many rings as well.
Superbowls are a team accomplishment, and if it's about championships... Starr won five!
Favre is #2 on my list behind Unitas who lit it up in a small ball era. But as far as Montana goes, he didn't have more talent than Favre, just more AROUND him.

favre is a good qb but the best ever? i doubt it. He really should have done the graceful thing and retired a couple years ago. now its just going to be sad to see such a good qb go out and embarrass himself this year just because he didnt know when to quit.
and for the record he is so not the cutest player- he'd probably be 3rd behind brady and kurt warner.

Favre is either 2 or 3 not #1 he is behind Montana of course and Elway. Dont get me wrong he is great just not better than them 2. Troy Akiman is better than him when it comes to rings.

Nope. He is really good, but Joe Montana is hands down the best QB to ever step on a football field.
