We see him first with his oversized pajamas fighting that wrestler, then a few minutes later in the movie, we see him wearing his "good" costume out of nowhere! How did that happen? Did I missed something?

He made them both, but how could he? if his idea of a good super hero suit was oversized pajama pants and etc etc, how could he make that high-priced material and the eye pattern and so on and so forth? he would have to be a hell of a sower if you ask me! lol well i hope this helped ya out. Well, my son has read the comics and he pointed it out to me during the movie that spider-man actually made a new costume that was more stable for fighting. The movie director just didn't add that in.

No, you did not miss anything.
The transition is simply a way to show the passing of time between the night of Uncle Ben's death and that day in the movie(wich is when Peter and Harry are well into collage).
You simply have to imagen that over time, Peter redesinged and refined his costume to turn it into what he now wears.

He first designs it and them he makes it. He makes several before the cool costume comes out.

the movie actually shows him in the crappy costume, then it does a montage of different designs "he" thinks of... then finally you see the newly designed costume....
