after school i'm joining the navy. from there i'm going into criminal justice. do u know what can help me prepare for that?

...You really seem to have too many unrelated career prospects on your agenda !
As you are still in school, I can only suggest that you use your spare time in reading/studying crime fiction, which focuses on Law - such as the 237 novels by Earle Stanley Gardner, and the 16-odd recent law-oriented publications by John Grisham.
Though you can never learn any REAL Law from these novels, these will at least help you in acquiring the right attitudes needed for a brilliant career in Criminal Law.

A BS degree in Criminal Justice. There are plenty of programs in that area offered either on the traditional campus setting, or those that are completely online...like University of Phoenix Online, Kaplan, Strayer, etc. University of Maryland also has their own online degree programs. My mom's friend's daughter got her BS in Criminal Justice at Penn State University's main campus.
